The Unkept TruthAttention diverted; misplaced with lackluster quality and this reverts us to qualms. Thinking it is better to lie than tell the truth, you so callously betray my trust. What is a man who denies truths for outlandish untruths? Were it not a moral issue, one would not be so inclined as to persist in this circumstance. One would let it slide, but my thoughts cannot be so easily removed from this unsightly predicament. Mere faith seems to be not enough, for detestation seems to seep from your pores. I can see the underlying hatred in every word that has passed your tongue.

Skin ReflectionI’ve no shadow, and my soul wishes to flee from this wretched tomb. It is this wretched misery, this despair that cannot un-wield this knife. Self-sufficient mutilation is my cross, and I bear it day by day. Scars reflect remembrance of days and nights when I was not strong enough to drown the sorrow in strength. A weakness, to scrape and rip my own flesh, to tear down the damn and let a river of crimson flee from these shores.

Sorrow of Utmost DestructionBearing in mind life is no longer where I would wish it to be, I can no longer endure these hardships. Unsettling despair sets in and my soul is weeping on the bed; covered only by a blanket of unbearable agony. Whilst this troublesome feeling sinks its way into my very core, I am no longer at one with myself. Here lay within the destruction of a person who can only dream of something he can never touch. To never have the grant and grace of wings fills me my soul with great sorrow. I have come to terms with the knowledge that I may never be at peace.

upon your blazing lips,
setting fire to every
memory that mattered.
I sift through the ashes,
but everything worth
remembering is charred,
singed from the surface
to the very source
