Words are merely an afterthought with the undying speculation I project my mind into. In fear of nothing, yet there is something astir in the catacombs of the heart. Never give up everything for one who merely steps outside themselves once in a while. Still, nothing ever presents itself in the light it should be cast in.

Love it. Great words, though you might make it even stronger if you can replace a the "are"s, "is"s, and "there is"s with an action verb rather than linking verb (if this totally screws up a certain phrase, then it is fine as it is, but otherwise it will make the piece more powerful).
