A Desolate LandscapeSoon this memory
will fade, much
like the night
that harbored a

If an escape

seek, the
waking moment
is forever desired,

If, though, the

dream that so

its grasp, what

than a priest?
He speaks
meaningless
words above
your tomb that
seem like wisdom
to those who
grieve, yet his
heart is not
encompassed
by sorrow.

ConflagrationMy fingers dance upon the flames as flesh is stripped and peeled away. To ash my body turns, yet trapped inside my soul still yearns. An escape from the fiery chasm, yet no pleasurable end can this mind fathom. Flames flowing like oceans on the skin, yet my candle has burned out within.

AnnullingThere is nothing that can be guaranteed. Is it so useless to hold a subtle hope in one's heart, even when life has blessed you only with betrayal? A confession is made, unaware one could be so heartless, so detached from humanity. Eyes averted with such a lingering sadness, just on the verge of breaking.

FULL VIEW MY CHILDREN!

I took this as I got home from work this morning. Unfortunately though, it was taken via camera phone, so the quality may be a bit off. However, now that I'm working again, I'm going to be picking up a digital camera and soon you will see many, many more photographs from me. This will fill the void if and when I hit writer's block again. :.)
